Takebishi DeviceGateway for scalable smart factory deployment

Ayaka Hashimoto from Takebishi introduces their IoT gateway, DeviceGateway, supporting communication with over 300 types of control devices including PLCs, robots, and sensors. Installed in various factories, DeviceGateway allows remote configuration via Ansible Playbook, enabling easy deployment and management across multiple sites. The system ensures flexibility by allowing selective configuration changes like adjusting MQTT endpoints while preserving PLC settings. Integrated with Red Hat's Device Edge components—Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MicroShift and Ansible, DeviceGateway facilitates scalable and efficient smart factory deployments, seamlessly connecting to MES and IoT systems.
