Scott McCarty | Senior Principal Product Manager - RHEL, Red Hat

Scott McCarty is a Global Senior Principal Product Manager for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, focusing on cloud computing, containers, workload expansion, and automation. He works closely with customers, partners, engineering teams, sales, marketing, other product teams, as well as the open source community, combining personal experience with customer and partner feedback to enhance and tailor strategic capabilities in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Scott is a social media startup veteran, an e-commerce old timer, and a weathered government research technologist, with experience across a variety of organizations, from 7-person startups to 25,000-employee technology companies. His career has culminated in a unique perspective on open source software development, delivery, and maintenance.

Brian Stinson | Lead Product Owner - RHEL, Red Hat

Brian works for the Community Platform Engineering team at Red Hat as the Technical Lead for CentOS Stream. Brian began as a systems administrator in academia, and joined the CentOS project in 2013 working on the community build system and packaging. Since 2015 he's been working remotely from Kansas, most recently on making Red Hat Enterprise Linux more easy to contribute to publicly through CentOS Stream.
