Verizon builds the intelligent edge with 5G and Red Hat: Innovation Award Winner 2023

When Verizon wanted to be the first telecom provider to support businesses and services that rely on pervasive connectivity, it needed to rapidly design and roll out its 5G network to create an intelligent, adaptive, and service-aware network. Red Hat helped Verizon develop a scalable 5G core, update to 5G radio access network (RAN), and modernize applications and operations with Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform.
